Baker, Bevans and Irwin, Glamorgan Pottery (1813-1839)
Miniature plate, earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim, the rim moulded with embossed floral sprigs enclosed by foliate swags interspersed with ribbon-tied floral garlands; transfer-printed in blue and overpainted in red, brown, yellow and green with to the centre of the well a scene showing a figure riding on a wooden horse with wheels which is pulled by another figure, stylized trees and bushes in the background, the moulded floral sprigs to the rim overpainted in red, yellow, green and brown, a brown edge to the rim.
