Morris, Henry (Henry Morris, 1799-1880, at Swansea 1814-1826)
Mug, bone china with a creamy buff translucency and crackled glaze; standing on a rounded foot rim indented and ridged above, cylindrical form, and loop handle; painted on the front with the inscription 'Charles Thomas Ley', in gilt, flanked by two polychrome, loosely arranged flower sprays; gilt band to foot rim, gilt lip, and gilt decoration to the handle.
