Figure of the Duke of Wellington, white earthenware, crackle glaze standing on an irregularly shaped plinth with a square front and a curved back. In contemporary dress, black shoes, white trousers, lemon waistcoat painted with maroon sprigs, black/grey coat, white neck tie, naturalistically painted face, grey hair. Right hand on hip, left hand resting on pillar draped in orange robe of state with a gilt drawstring neck and black spotted grey collar.
