Figure of Florence Nightingale with a wounded officer, white earthenware, crackled glaze with a slight blue tinge, oval pedestal base, inscribed in raised capitals, the officer (left) in red jacket with fringed epaulettes and tartan sash, and white trousers, right arm in a spotted sling, black hair and moustaches, seated in a green chair with fringed pink cushion, Florence Nightingale (right) standing, in green skirt ornamented with black diamonds, and short sleeved pink bodice, blue and white streamers or veil in her black hair, holding a bottle and cloth.
