Late Bronze Age bronze socketed axe
Small mouth corner and collar fragment of slender faceted axe. Trumpet shaped collar 17.1mm wide, with prominent upper lip and concave curve, its lower edge defined by an overhang. Non-loop side. Some angularity of surfaces on collar and beneath hint at facets, although not definable with clarity on this small fragment. Longitudinal break along side casting seam.
