Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain, with a creamy pale buff translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into slightly cushion moulded and straight spreading sides; lobed lip moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage; groove moulded cavetto; painted in the centre with a large flower spray in polychrome enamels; gilt dentilled lip.
