Spoon tray
Spoon tray, hard-paste porcelain, oval shape with straight-sided foot-rim and rounded curving sides, the edge of the rim shaped with pointed lobes; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well an agricultural scene showing two female figures reclining with baskets in the foreground while beyond figures are engaged in ploughing and in reaping corn, in the background are mountains and a river, the scene enclosed by a narrow gilt band, around the sides of the well are scattered sprigs of naturalistic flowers, a gilt edge to the rim.
