Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate; soft paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim, shallow cushion moulding, straight lobed edge (six large lobes, six small); painted with a regular turquoise & gilt symmetrical pattern interspersed with single sprigs of a pink rose; three turquoise and gilt cloud-shaped reserves on edge and cushion moulding, containing a bird in a landscape; central cloud shaped reserve, with two birds; gilt lip.
