Early Medieval copper alloy ingot
Thick bronze strip, the one end with an original curve, the other snapped off after 2 or 3 attempts to cut it with a cold chisel. The piece seems far too thick to have served any function, for instance as a strap end, and it is most likely a bronze worker's ingot.
