Toby jug
Toby jug, earthenware, standing on an octagonal base, the jug modelled in the form of a corpulent seated figure decorated with coloured glazes, with dark brown cocked hat forming the mouth of the jug, pale brown coat, green vest, yellow knee-breeches and dark brown shoes, the figure holds a light brown beer jug on the knee in the right hand and a raised cup in the left hand, a long tobacco pipe rests to one side, to the rear of the jug a plain loop handle, the handle and rear of the figure coloured green.
