Cup and saucer
Cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, the cup has curved sides that narrow at the base before spreading out into a circular foot, loop handle, circular saucer with high straight sides and an indented base; the rim of both pieces are banded with a double gilt line border, the foot of the cup is banded with a gilt line border and the handle is gilded, the cup is painted with a bird perching on a tree and the saucer is painted with a bird standing in a landscape.
