Side plate, Midwinter 'Fashion' shape F4, white earthenware with clear glaze, square shape with rounded corners and edges, inset base and gently curving sides with no discernible rim; transfer-printed with the 'Oranges and Lemons' pattern in orange, grey, dark brown and shades of green, comprising, to the left side, a naturalistic rendition of two oranges beneath two lemons, both fruits on the vine, to the right side are two small groups of leaves.
