S.S. SUTHERLAND, glass negative

Built 1940 by Wm Doxford & Sons at Sunderland for B.J. Sutherland of Newcastle. 1953 - Sold to Chapman & Willan and renamed GRAINTON. 1957 - Sold to Buries Markes Ltd. of London and renamed LA BAHIA. 1961 - Sold to M.J. Lemos & Co., and renamed SAN JOHN. Renamed LEDRA by them in 1965. She was wrecked on 11th November 1967 at 7°24'N / 81°51'E (off the east coast of Sri Lanka).
