Presentation of a gold watch to Mrs Peggy Payne on the occassion of her retirement after 38 years of service with the Docks Board and its predecessors. Mrs Payne was a receptionist and telephonist at the Chief Docks Manager's Office, Pierhead Buildings, Cardiff Docks. Presenting the watch on behalf of Mrs Payne's many colleagues, is Mr T.S. Roberts, Chief Docks Manager of South Wales Ports. Also in the picture are A.W. Johns, Head of Personnel at South Wales Ports, Miss Pat Cobb and John Williams.
