Private Gold seal
Quartz set in gold surround, for attachment to watch chain
Private seal - of the Anglesey Druidical Society c. 1800-1825
Fob seal for attachment to a watch chain. It bears the Society's motto 'Nis Gwyr Namyin Diwyd Dderwyddon' (Only faithful Druids know) with a Druid's head superimposed on an oak bough. The gold mount is decorated with oak leaves and acorns.
This seal was presumably commissioned provately by a membver of the Angelsey Druidical Society (1772 - 1844).
