Panelled chest with wide applied mouldings to edges of panels and lid raised on stile feet. Evidence on previous handles on each side of chest (probably iron). Till-box inside with sloping side and lid;boarded lid to chest with moulded frame. Front and side also of boarded construction with decorative mouldings applied. Internal rebate to corner posts. Original lock plate.
