Reverse. As the obverse (2000.44H/17), save for the insertion of a small quatrefoil between the third and fourth cusps counting to the right from the horse’s right hind leg. This ‘secret sign’, as it was then referred to, was added to the matrix in 1423 by John Bernes, goldsmith of London
