Taperstick
Taperstick, soft-paste porcelain with a pale greyish-green translucency; standing on a foot rim curving into flared spreading sides, ( handle missing ), cylindrical sconce indented at base, with an everted lip; painted around the edge with three small flower sprays, including wild strawberries, buttercup, and forget-me-not; gilt seaweed pattern encircling base of sconce, gilt leaf and dot pattern around middle of sconce; gilt lip.
