Plate, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, with a green translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into flared spreading sides; painted in the centre with a goldfinch perched on a rose branch with two full bloom roses and one rosebud, a blue convolvulus, and butterfly; gilt border of continuous scrolls and swags ( very worn; centre of plate damaged ) )
