Cup, tea and saucer
Tea cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain with white translucency, clear glaze, angular scrolling handle; moulded scrolls and scale patterns beneath framing four asymmetrical cartouches on the saucer and two on the cup, each painted in polychrome enamels over the glaze, vignettes on the saucer are two hens with a river and church to the left, and on the cup a vignette of two ducks by a river on one side and two hens and a cockerel to the other side, enamelled floral sprigs around the body of the cup and saucer, plain bands of gilt at the rims, gilding to the handle.
