Jug, pearlware, standing on a rounded spreading foot, globular body, cylindrical neck, beak spout with foliate moulding to the underside, scrolled foliate-moulded loop handle with raised thumb-spur; the exterior of the jug covered with copper lustre apart from a white band around the foot-rim, pink lustre bands around the lower body, shoulder and exterior lip-rim, and the underside of the spout which has been left white and edged in pink lustre, around the middle of the exterior body a sprigged wreath of flowers and foliage which have been overpainted in polychrome enamels, to either side of the exterior neck a stylized floral spray in yellow, white and green enamels, a pattern of pink lustre dashes to the underside of the spout, a pink lustre band around the interior lip-rim and spout, a pink lustre foliate motif to the handle.
