Cup and saucer
Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
cup and saucer, earthenware, the cup, standing on a waisted foot rim, rounded sides ending in a scalloped lip rim, ogee handle; the saucer, standing on a narrow rounded foot rim with spreading, cushion moulded sides; the cup, transfer printed in red with the 'Archers' pattern, two ladies with archery equipment standing in park like scenery with a large house and ornamental tents in the background, lattice work pattern to lip rim and to handle, the interior with a scrolling floral and foliate border on a lattice work ground with a floral spray to the centre; the saucer with the same central scene and with the scrolling border to the rim.
