Wall hanging
Printed velveteen wall coverings
The panel is made of widths of pale brown/cream cotton velvet, joined together with vertical seams. The velvet has been printed in brown with a 19.3cm wide repeating motif of an eagle and chained dog in a boat with trees/flowers/foliage and three ducks in the foreground. The brown print makes up the background while the unprinted area stands out as the motif. The panel is lined with plain printed brown composite woven cotton. Linen tapes are stitched around the edges of the reverse side onto which brass rings are sewn for attachment to the wall.
