Dowlais-Cardiff (East Moors) steelworks, negative
Three blast furnaces under construction, from east south east, 4 September 1889. The line of raw material bunkers partly obscure the furnaces and stoves beyond. A steam crane is at work beside the left hand stove. Shows three blast furnaces in construction with attendant cowper stoves. Also three stacks for stoves and one for the engine house, which are completed. There are also seven bunkers.
