Table napkin
Large white table napkin made from linen? and damask woven in a striped pattern. The napkin appears to be one loom width with selvedges at either side and turned edges top and bottom. In the top right corner the date '1693' is embroidered in yellow silk thread, in the bottom left corner the letter 'H' is embroidered in grey silk thread, In the centre of the top edge the letters 'SV' are embroidered in pink silk thread. There are three areas of darning in the same white thread.
