Jug
Jug, red earthenware, standing on a slightly spreading foot-rim, bulbous oviform body, cylindrical collar neck slightly flaring at the lip-rim, simple pinched spout, roughly moulded plain loop handle with raised edge running down the centre of it, extensive plaster restoration to the neck and upper handle; the interior and most of the exterior of the jug covered with a lustrous dark brown glaze, the restored areas overpainted in brown.
