Vase and cover, hard-paste porcelain, standing on an oval base, trumpet foot with four semi-cirular piercings, four leaf mouldings and a border of impressed ovals, globular, rococo, urn-shaped body with elongated, curved, pierced neck, two double c-scroll handles to sides, the upper part everted away from the vase, domed oval pierced cover with crossed leaf finial; decorated in polychrome enamels, on one side with three children playing in a landscape, one facing left with a drum, a girl in the centre with a yellow bodice and a figure to the left wearing blue and holding a stick, ruins behind, fence to right, trees to left, opposite a small detail scene of a landscape, a fence in the foreground with bushes behind, border of moulded and gilded leaves to handles, gilt borders to base and around lip and rim of cover, gilt highlighting to piercing, handles and cover.
