Tankard, with hinged cover; standing on a low moulded foot and stem, raised pear-shaped body with an everted lip and an applied rib at about one third of its height; S-scroll handle, raised and seamed with a heart-shaped terminal or heel and a cast lambrequin-shaped section at the top; tall stepped and domed cover with cast acanthus and scroll thumbpiece.
