Large cup and saucer of soft-paste porcelain with white translucency. The cup stands on a tapering turned footrim, with slightly curved sides and a spreading rim; a large kidney-shaped handle. Painted on the outside with two flower sprays and a small red butterfly, inside the bottom with a red flower sprig; the rim, foot and handle lined in gilt. The dish-shaped saucer stands on a tapering foot rim, with curved sides; painted with two flower sprays (one featuring honeysuckle), two isolated sprigs and a red butterfly; the rim lined in gilt.
