Figure of Garibaldi, heavy white earthenware with a crackle glaze, standing on an oval plinth, incscribed in black incised capitals on a gilt scrolling reserve that slopes downwards from left to right, outlined in gilt strokes. Figure in white trousers, black belt, loose orange shirt, black neck tie, face naturalistically painted, dark brown hair, beard, and moustache, figure twisting right, left hand resting on breast inside the shirt, right hand resting on a dark brown rifle? butt, the rifle balanced upright between the figure's legs, green and brown rocky ground rising behind the figure, one clump of extruded grass by handle of rifle.
