Handcuffs
Donor's uncle was an officer in Merionethshire Constabulary (later Gwynedd)
Handcuffs manufactured by Hiatt of Birmingham, mid 20th century. "Leading" handcuffs consisting of 2 wrist loops held together by a large rivet. The larger loop, for the prisoner's wrist, closes completely with a clasp. The smaller loop, for the police officer's wrist, remains slightly open. The visible surfaces are all nickel plated.
