Breakfast cup and saucer, glassy paste, plainly shaped, the saucer with flat well, and the cup with deep bowl, loop handle with lower inner spur and residual thumbpiece, painted in the Empire style with dark-green symbols and gold, the saucer with three equally spaced groups of torch, urn and staff amidst trailing gilt arabesques and gilt sprigs, the cup with a swan, a mythical beast and a vase and gilt scrolls, foliage, crossed staves etc; gilt rims, gilt band around foot, gilt detailing to handle; gilding very rubbed
