S.S. FORT SANDUSKY, glass negative
Three quarter Starboard Bow view of S.S FORT SANDUSKY, c.1948.
(7375gt) : Canadian-type vessel built 1945 by United Shipyards, Montreal (engine by Dominion Engineering Works, Montreal), for the Canadian Government managed for MoWT by Ellerman Lines Ltd., 1947 – Transferred to the British Admiralty and served as a Stores-Issuing ship. She was broken up at Castellon in 1973. (NB : The ship launched as FORT SANDUSKY (1) was completed by North Vancouver Ship Repairs Ltd., North Vancouver, in December, 1943, as KITSILAND PARK).
