Knocker churn
An example of a Carmarthen pattern knocker churn, with slightly bulbous shape.
Sycamore staves with 6 galvanised iron bands, cylindrical rim at top of bent sycamore, fixed with copper rivets. Lid with central hole to allow plunger free movement. Plunger itself is a disc, with four circular holes, with a long handle.
