Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Teapot and cover of soft-paste porcelain with creamy-white translucency; London shape, oblong with spreading foot, bulbous body, waisted neck and concave shoulder; square handle with internal spur; spout of triangular section; plateau-shaped lid, with pyramidal knop with gadroon-moulded band round the middle. The body fire-cracked, the glaze badly blistered, especially inside and outside the base and inside the spout. Glazed but not decorated.
