Tydu nail works, Rogerstone, photograph
Site of row of houses. Flagstones formed internal floors at rear of row (front half of row is not exposed). Cast iron pipe in foreground ran down narrow alley between rear of row and east wall of tinplate works. Viewed from north east, at Tydu tinplate works. This later became Castle / Tydy nail works, and later incorperated within Rogerstone Aluminium Works.
