Jug
Jug, earthenware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, angular scrolled handle; covered all over with a canary yellow glaze, the exterior of the jug then covered with silver lustre, this then resist decorated so that the yellow of the glaze shows through with around the body a stylized design of birds and floral sprays which to one side of the body has mostly worn off, around the neck a pattern of overlapping oval shapes and stylized leaves, a stylized flower head to the underside of the spout, yellow bands around the lower body shoulder and neck, a silver lustre band around the interior lip-rim and spout, very worn silver lustre stripes to the handle.
