Soup plate, soft-paste porcelain with a deep earthy orange translucency and bubbly glaze; standing on a tapered foot rim, rounded spreading sides and a wide flared everted lip; painted with a wide border of large flowers, including pink roses, wild pink roses, and blue convolvuli, and a central circular panel containing a landscape with a river, mountains, and a castle in the distance; gilt lip.
