Figure of Garibaldi, creamy white earthenware with a slightly blue tinted crackle glaze, standing on an irregularly shaped rectangular base with curved corners. Figure in contemporary dress of black shoes, white trousers, loose white shirt with gilt spots, gilt chain across chest and tucked in top pocket, gilt necktie, white cloak over left forearm, naturalistically painted face, black hair and whiskers, standing with legs crossed leaning to the right against a waist height grey pillar with gilt line at foot and head, right hand on hip and holding the hilt of a black sword propped against his left leg, left forearm resting on the pillar, and holding a scroll with black writing on it. Grey rocks behind.
