Iron Age pottery vessel
Body sherd 6mm thick of hard fabric containing common small calcite inclusions.The black external surface is smoothed and highly burnished while the internal grey/brown surface is unterated. Similar to limestone/calcite tempered jars from Llanmelin and Sudbrook (Nash-Williams 1933, 1939).
