Cup and saucer
Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy white translucency; the cup, standing on a straight sided foot rim, with an indentation immediately above, rounded sides, flaring to end in an everted lip rim; high loop kidney handle extending above the lip rim; the saucer, standing on an unglazed base, rounded spreading sides; the cup and saucer both painted with small single pink roses, most having three leaves, with a single, very worn example to the interior base of the cup; blue band to saucer rim, lip rim of cup, blue line and dot to upper handle.
