Rag offering
Rag offering made by knotting two pieces of textile to a twig.
The first piece is white wool twill made from s-spun singles yarn. The second piece is part of what would have been a hand-stitched garment. I is a grey cotton (?) tabby section containing several layers, joined together by several lines of stitches and three button holes made into a folded-over edge of what may have been part of a shirt. The twig has light coloured bark.
