Plate, pearlware with a slight blue tinge to the glaze, flat base, curving sides and spreading rim; decorated in underglaze blue with to the well a Chinese-style landscape with cottages overshadowed by spreading trees, to the rim a border of white scrolls agains ta a blue band.
