DEED (6766gt) : Built 1943 as EMPIRE DEED by Bartram & Sons Ltd., Sunderland, for MoWT. She was bombed in May 1943 while still at the shipyard, but was repaired, and was on convoy duty by the August, managed by Mungo, Campbell & Co. 1946 – Sold to Sussex Steamship Co Ltd., London, and renamed DEED, managed by S.G.Embiricos, London. 1951 – Sold to Compagnia Navigazione Doro, Panama, and renamed DORO. Again, managed by S.G. Embiricos. 1956 – Sold to Z & G.L. Cambanis, Piraeus, and renamed LEONIDAS CAMBANIS. 1964 – Sold to Reliance Marine Corp., Liberia, and renamed EVER FORTUNE. Resold later that year to First Steamship Co. Ltd., Taiwan, and renamed EVER HAPPINESS. Sold for scrapping in November 1966, she was broken up at Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 1967.
