Roman copper alloy teardrop pendant
This teardrop shaped pendant is flat but with a bi-conical terminal. The suspension hook is broken. Teardrop shaped pendants are extremely common and fulfilled a variety of purposes - smaller ones formed terminals to 'apron' straps, or central lunulae, but the larger examples could be suspended from phalerae.
