Spill vase
Spill-vase, hybrid-paste porcelain or bone china with a creamy buff translucency, with a crackled glaze; standing on three paw feet, and straight sided foot rim curving into a flared cylindrical body with a ridge above the foot and below the lip, flaring prominently at lip, with a scalloped gallery; one side painted with a spray of flowers including yellow and purple tulip, other side painted with a small flower spray including roses and forget-me-nots; gilt seaweed pattern below the lip, gilt bands to the foot rim, either side of the ridges, and lip.
