Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a tapered foot rim curving into slightly cushion moulded and curved spreading sides; lobed lip moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage, and a grooved cavetto; painted in the centre with a bouquet of flowers, around the edge, two flower sprays, one perched bird, one group of fruit, and two vignettes of growing flowers; gilt dentil lip.
