Roman copper alloy sheet
Corner fragment of a sheet or plaque with silver plating and niello inlay. Five scroll motifs above a single line. Comparable inlaid decoration of high quality appears, for example, on sliding lids of medicine boxes, but with so small a fragment, definite identification is not possible.
