A sign taped to Boughrood Bridge, over the River Wye, Boughrood, Powys. Reading: 'PAINTED ROCKS SNAKE Who's ready for a new painted rocks challenge? One of our lovely members of the community spotted this and thought we should set one up in Llyswen and Boughrood. We are all thoroughly enjoying painting and hiding our rocks; it is fabulous seeing them all around our villages but now we'd like to start a new challenge. Instead of re-hiding the rocks you find, we would like to start to make a snake along Boughrood Bridge! We are asking you NOT to take the rocks but to contribute by adding your rock to the 'snake'. This will hopefully put a smile on your face as you pass by and also gives the children something fun to enjoy. So, what are you waiting for? How far will the snake grow? Have fun, stay safe and enjoy watching the snake grow!'
