Bible box
An oak box with wire hinged lid. Solid oak plank construction. The front has spiral carvings at sides and bottom. Beneath the iron lock are the initials I W and the date 1707. Belonged to family of donor's father, Red. Rees David Rees (b. Velindre 1874), Vicar of Cilcennin, Cardiganshire and Llangathen, Carmarthenshire.
